Professor (Dr.) Sat Prakash Bansal is a distinguished academic leader and visionary institution builder who assumed office as Vice-Chancellor of the Central University of Himachal Pradesh on 28 July 2021. With extensive experience in higher education governance, research, and policy implementation, he has played a pivotal role in strengthening academic institutions and advancing interdisciplinary research initiatives.

A prolific scholar with 25 authored books, around 90 research publications, and 11 nationally significant research projects, Prof. Bansal has consistently promoted innovation, quality assurance, and the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP-2020).
